Boxes & Other Useful Items for Milady's Home & Boudoir
Ladies of the Flapper Era often decorated their bedrooms with various doll-themed items. They had numerous trinket boxes on their dressing tables to hold hairpins and jewelry. Makeup for women, long frowned upon as unbecoming of a lady, now became more acceptable Ladies of the time therefore needed powder boxes on their vanities and these boxes were often decorated with dolls. Half dolls were often sewed to powder puffs, and there were powder patters as well. To complete the picture, there were often doll-themed lamps in the bedroom on the vanity or on the nightstands.
